The Nonlinear Benchmarks website offers a series of nonlinear tests, which allows the user to study, compare, and test the properties of nonlinear system identification methods. A comprehensive set of real-life and simulated experiments are provided. For each benchmark, a detailed description is given of the setup, the problem, and the challenges. Links to earlier published results are also provided, allowing the user to compare new methods with existing approaches.
A non-linear benchmark workshop is organized annually to discuss new results on the benchmark data. In addition, a mini-course on nonlinear system identification offers newcomers in the field a first introduction to nonlinear system identification.
